Now, I am well aware that I'm not eligible for the official Book Puzzle Challenge, hosted by Amanda at Pearl the Book Girl, but it sounded like fun so I thought I'd do a post anyway. The idea is to create book puzzles made up of multiple images. So, say I was creating a puzzle for Sweet Venom by Tera Lynn Childs, it might look like this:

See? Okay, so here are a few more I came up with, because I was bored and I didn't want to read because my head was all fuzzy. Anyone care to take a guess or seven?
Puzzle 1
Clue: "It wasn't over... it still isn't over!"

Puzzle 2
Clue: The author of this one is like Twilight with hayfever.

Puzzle 3
Clue: Climb aboard the good ship Chocolat!

Puzzle 4
Clue: Mr Amanda Palmer says "Boo!"

Puzzle 5
Clue: I bet Michael Jackson had a really bad memory.

Puzzle 6
Clue: The Queen loves a good round of Scrabble

Puzzle 7
Clue: Of columns of dirt and houses of God

Did you get any of them?! Answer in the comments... you know you want to!

I got #3, #4 and #6 right away - have to think some more about the others.
ReplyDeleteHaha, nice going! I know a fair few people who couldn't NOT get #4!
DeleteI got #6 and #7 pretty fast, but the others are a bit of a challenge :P
ReplyDeleteKeep going! *laughs evilly*
DeleteI got #3, #4 and #7, and I'm quite sure I got #1 too.
ReplyDeleteThe others are a little bit harder to me! I don't think I'll guess them soon.
Really a funny game! :)
You're over halfway there then, nice going! ;)
DeleteI got #1, #4, #6, #7. Not sure about the others. Still working it out!
ReplyDeleteGot #3 too!
ReplyDeleteYou've toppled the most so far then! I'll maybe add the answers either to the post or the comments later... :)
DeleteI got #4 and #6 straight away (they are relevant to my interests ;) ) and #3 and #7 after a while. This was fun!
ReplyDeleteWow,#2's still stumping people... It IS fun isn't it? Kinda like taking a crossword break mid-readathon! :)
DeleteI think I got #2. Maybe it is not a direct clue for the book title is it? Can't figure #5 yet. Fun break for the readathon.
DeleteThe pictures are a direct clue like the others; the written clue in red is for author... *drifts away shrouded in enigmatic mist*
DeleteHmm, I think I got #1 and #7, have no clue of the rest. But, I've never been good at puzzles, lol. :)
ReplyDeleteI tell ya, it's a lot easier to write/post clues than it is to solve them. I'm no good at cryptic ones either! ;)
DeleteOmg I must be stupid, I think I have like two haha, I'm rubbish. Are these well known books lol. Xxx fantastic ill book puzzle! Go you! Host a challenge on another readathon maybe xx
ReplyDeleteScrap that.....I think I am fab!!! I have them all.......I think hehe. Just number two clue has thrown me but I am sure I have them all honestly xx
DeleteOkay, the suspense is too much... I'm adding the answers to the bottom of the post! :D
DeleteI got the second one wrong damn, I get the clue now tho. There is a few hunting unicorn type titles haha x
DeleteGood one! got it all correct except #2 and #5. Didn't notice the unicorns, thought they were ocean horses and came to the conclusion hunting Ocean horses so it should be Scorpio races. Great fun!
